Writing, Part 1
This course is designed to enhance professional practice by extending knowledge and skills in the delivery of writing programs. Candidates will explore the theoretical foundations, learning environment, ethical considerations, the development of learners, program planning and implementation, and assessment related to teaching and learning of writing across all divisions. Candidates will communicate and apply learning through a variety of practical experiences, discussions, networking, and sharing the products of their learning.
- Certificate of Qualification and Registration or Interim Certificate of Qualification and Registration (ICQR) or ICQR (Limited) with the Ontario College of Teachers; and
- Basic Qualifications in Primary or Junior divisions or Intermediate or Senior divisions in general studies.
